I love all the cute things painted onto concrete so I decided to make my own DIY stencil and give it a try. I bought a package of DIY stencil material at a local craft store and then used my Cricut to cut out the design.<\/p>\n

I wanted to use chalk paint that would wash off the concrete and I found this washable chalk spray paint that worked great for washing off. The paint did bleed when I sprayed the stencil. I sprayed a lot because it was such a light color so it was probably user error. I think it turned out okay, but I would hope for better next time. I haven’t tried it again yet, but when I do I’ll post it if the results turn out any better. If you have any tips for not having the bleed issue I’d love to hear them.<\/p>\n

I used stencil material that wasn’t for the Cricut. Having the Cricut cut it out was so much easier than me doing it by hand like the instructions said.<\/p>\n
